Arizona Child Support Laws

New Arizona child support laws and guidelines were adopted by the Arizona Supreme Court on June 1, 2011. These guidelines are designed to follow state statutes A.R.S §25-320 and federal regulations. The guidelines use the Income Shares Model which, in part, seeks to ensure that how child support is calculated is consistent and the amount provided for a child represents the amount of money that would have been spent on the child had the parents remained together.
